KidScreen Awards Expands In 2011

Following its inaugural success at last year’s KidScreen Summit, the industry’s most prestigious set of awards is planning to celebrate the best in kids entertainment again at KidScreen Summit 2011. The KidScreen Awards will pay tribute to outstanding content from around the world that entertains and engages children and their families. Our high-profile presentation event to be held during the Summit is expanding and will be open to all delegates next year.

We are now looking for entries covering Preschool (0 to 5), Kids (6 to 10), Tweens/Teens (11 to 17) and Families in the following categories:

• Best Animated Series
• Best Non-Animated or Mixed Series
• Best One-off, Special or TV Movie
• Best Companion Website

Winners will be chosen by juries of the industry’s most highly respected entertainment professionals, who will also single out programs that merit Creative Talent Awards for animation, directing, voice talent, writing, music, design and acting.
