Doug Hadders

Executive Story Editor

Gordon Sorcery

Born and raised in Saskatchewan, Doug began his entertainment career as a radio announcer. For over a decade Doug moved from morning show to morning show, from Regina to Yellowknife, then decided to move on to theater, then back to radio again, then parking lot attendant, carpenter, actor, web designer, government worker, and of course, sang base for a touring karaoke group called Regina Excites!

Then, as the new millennium dawned, he rented a UHaul, stuffed all his worldly belonging inside, including his two dogs, two cats, and one amazingly supportive wife, Naomi, and moved to Toronto to break into television by enrolling in the Humber Comedy Writing & Performing course. While there he met his future writing partner, Adam Rotstein. Since then Doug and Adam have never looked back, they prefer to look forwards, but mostly just look sideways. They have very poor attention spans.

Currently Doug is co-executive story editing the new reboot of Inspector Gadget with Adam and has two original animated shows, RV There Yet and Ice Cream & Maggo, currently in development with Teletoon. They are also very bad at coming up with show names.
