The Godfather. The Wire. The Great Gatsby. Let It Be. These are all things that were written. Not by me of course. Not even close. Nope. I’ve written on dozens (baker’s dozens even) of animated TV shows over the course of the last millennium. I started out wanting to write the Great Canadian (or insert name of country you are from) Novel. But, when I realized that would take a really long time, and I would likely be homeless by the end of it, I turned to writing something that might actually involve getting cash money. And is very rewarding and all that. From Gerald McBoing Boing, to Hot Wheels, to being Executive Story Editor of the new (and improved!) incarnation of Inspector Gadget, my neatly typed phrases and extremely witty dialogue, coupled with those of my writing partner, Doug Hadders, have found their way into the minds of small children everywhere. So, when they become Nobel Prize winning physicists, Cancer cure finders, and Middle East peace brokers, you can thank me. For all the other stuff, like anything remotely bad that a kid does, you can thank Doug.
