Alan Winnikoff is co-principal of Sayles & Winnikoff Communications, the boutique social media, public relations and brand strategies firm he and his partner, Carina Sayles, co-founded in 2003.
Alan is responsible for the strategic direction and overall management of the company and the account team. With a recognized expertise in branding and messaging, he sets the agenda for, and manages, the agency’s client relationships.
The firm’s specific business practices include media, arts and entertainment, consumer products and non-profits. Sayles & Winnikoff is recognized as a leader in the branding and marketing of socially responsible children’s content, products and events for children and families. The firm also works with start-ups and entrepreneurs across a wide spectrum of businesses.
Prior to launching Sayles & Winnikoff, Alan held several senior positions with high profile media companies. He was one of the founding executives of Sony Wonder, the family entertainment division of Sony Music.
A graduate of The Colorado College, Alan lives in Westchester County with his wife and two sons. He enjoys running and spending time with his kids.
