Passionate about creating and developing outstanding content on all platforms with heart, soul and nourishment baked in, Daniel Bays was the creator and show-runner of the multiplatform, physically interactive, international hit preschool animated series, Tree Fu Tom (for CBeebies and Fremantle Media Kids and Family).
Starting his career in creative development in BBC Science and Factual Entertainment, Daniel moved into BBC Children’s 9 years ago to develop, write, story edit and produce bold new ideas – live-action, animation and digital – in both CBBC and CBeebies.
Daniel is currently developing new landmark shows, brands and digital experiences for CBeebies that will hopefully become the next big global cross-platform properties and is launching into the freelance world as a creator, development consultant and executive, writer, story-editor and show-runner.
