Geraldine Laybourne’s impact on cable programming is legendary. A true pioneer, she led the team that created Nickelodeon and Nick at Nite and served as President of Disney/ABC Cable Networks. She then went on to found Oxygen Media, where she served as Chairman and CEO until she sold it to NBC Universal in 2007. Geraldine is currently the Chairman and Co-Founder of kids technology company Kandu, and also serves on the board of directors of 9 Story Media Group. Join PBS KIDS VP of Children’s Programming Linda Simensky as she chats with Geraldine about what has changed in the business of kids entertainment, what has remained constant, and what to consider as we head into uncharted media territory.
