Looking Back, Looking Forward: Platforms and Practices
In December 2010, when Facebook mapped its users’ connections, they discovered a whole new world of communication and sharing—digital media had erased distance, borders and geographical barriers. As Kidscreen turns 20, Dubit looks at platform progression since 1996, to understand how it has changed practices in launching and distributing successful brands. And because past is prologue, we’ll also project how children and youth will discover, adopt, engage with and share media in the decade to come.
