Then, Now & Next: Fred Seibert, digital media innovator

Not only did he pioneer 1990s animated shorts incubator What a Cartoon at Hanna-Barbera—a model since replicated by content commissioners the world over—Fred Seibert has had an uncanny knack for making the right bets in digital media. He was the first investor in Tumblr, founder of Next New Networks (later acquired by Google), and founder of MCN animation giant Channel Frederator and Thirty Labs, a new tech studio focused on innovating video products for the next generation of media. At the forefront of changes in the kids entertainment business over the past 20 years, Seibert has seen it all, and he's going to share his thoughts on the past, present and future of the business.
