Established in June 2002, Moody Street Kids specialises in creating, developing and producing original children's animated television series for a variety of major television networks.

Moody Street Kidsis owned and directed by Gillian Carr, ex - UK TV Broadcasting Commissioner and member of the International Emmys Academy. Gillian moderated the finalist’s panel in New York at the 2007 iEmmy Festival whileMoody Street Kidshosted the judging of the semi-finals in 2006 and 2012. Gillian is now a finals judge for the iEmmys. Gillian spent three years as a member of the EAC funding panel for Film Victoria.

Following the international success of the core children’s brand, the company has now expanded beyond children's animation to include a more diverse range of media content from live action television series to feature films and multi-platform content.

We have forged extensive partnerships with co-production partners across the globe, and have established a core production and development team with collaborators in the US, Canada, the UK and Malaysia. We are about to commence work on our tenth series.

Some of our more recent productions includeTransformers: Rescue Bots(The Hub)and Kuu Kuu Harajuku(Network Ten, Nickelodeon US).

Kuu Kuu Harajuku, now embarking on its third season, has resulted in the exciting development of Mattel coming on board as our global master toy licensor.

Moody Street Kids’ children’s television series have been broadcast around the world, including Australia, France, the UK and the US (Nickelodeon US, The Hub), amongst others.
