Simon is the president of Falcon's Beyond Global, where he drives the company's strategic global expansion and operational excellence. Under his leadership, Falcon's Beyond is redefining the boundaries of entertainment with cutting-edge experiences and immersive content. Since joining as president in 2023, Simon has been instrumental in taking Falcon’s Beyond public, marking a new chapter in the company's growth. Prior to this, he served as a senior advisor to the company’s board of directors.
With more than three decades of leadership in strategic brand management, global licensing, and franchise development, Simon's career has helped influence the entertainment industry. He has held senior leadership roles at iconic organizations, including The Walt Disney Company, Marvel, and Moonbug Entertainment.
Before Falcon's Beyond, Simon was managing director of Global Consumer Products at Moonbug Entertainment, where he launched blockbuster licensing programs for Cocomelon and Blippi, shaping them into global phenomena. During his tenure at The Walt Disney Company EMEA as executive vice president and general manager, he brought to life some of the most beloved characters and stories from Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, and Marvel through innovative licensing and digital strategies. He was also pivotal in driving Disney's e-commerce strategy and managing Disney Stores and third-party retail partnerships across EMEA.
At Marvel Entertainment International, Simon served as president, where he played a critical role in the launch of Marvel’s cinematic universe, overseeing the creation of its animation and gaming slates and leading the global consumer products division. He was also a key architect of the strategic acquisition of Marvel by The Walt Disney Company.
Simon’s reputation as a trailblazer within popular culture has been a common theme in his career and can be seen early on in his experience as managing director of 4Kids Entertainment International, where he played a crucial role in the global success of franchises like Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Simon was the founder of Licensing Dynamics International (LDI), a pioneering media and entertainment company that became a global leader in licensing and brand management. He led LDI's acquisition of Dori Media Group, which diversified its portfolio.
Simon’s career began in London with the British Olympic Association, where he licensed the world’s first Olympic-branded video game and introduced third-party advertising to video games, setting new industry standards.
Recognized as one of the 2024 Most Influential Leaders by the Orlando Business Journal and named The Expert on License Global's Influentials 2023 list, Simon continues to be a driving force in the brand licensing industry. His dedication to making a difference extends beyond business, as he is also involved in philanthropy, including founding The Winter Park Synagogue.
