Danette is the owner of The People & Culture Boutique, an HR talent alignment shop focused on delivering customized team and leadership effectiveness facilitation and coaching consultation. Danette is a talent leader, speaker and practitioner with expertise in employee culture and engagement initiatives, team facilitation, executive development programs, inclusion and equity practices, leadership coaching and overall organizational development (OD).
Demonstrating an innate bias for action, she believes in transferring leadership capability in practical ways to leaders and employees across all levels and has had the opportunity to work with a diverse client set representing media and entertainment, arts, technology, telecommunications, hospitality and advertising since she launched her company The People & Culture Boutique in 2020.
From 1996 to 2019, Danette had a successful, albeit unconventional, career at Turner Broadcasting (now Warner Bros. Discovery) with stints in CNN PR and CNN International and culminating as Vice President of Human Resources overseeing learning and organizational development along with the company’s diversity and inclusion efforts. She has earned multiple coaching and training certifications through the years ranging from Hogan, CCL Benchmarks by Design, Sherpa, Agility assessment and coaching tools to Human Performance Institute’s Corporate Athlete program, Korn Ferry’s Unconscious Bias Initiative and Talent Smarts EQ 2.0 for individuals and teams after earning an executive certificate in organizational development from the National Training Laboratory (NTL) in 2012.
Danette runs her business out of Greenville, South Carolina where she shares an incredible life close to the Blue Ridge mountains with her wife, Terri and far too many pets.
