igdalis Silva is Vice President of Programming and Acquisitions for Nickelodeon Latin America. Based in Miami, Silva reports into Tatiana Rodriguez, Senior Vice President of Programming and Creative Strategy for Nickelodeon Latin America.
In this role, Silva is responsible for the programing strategy and positioning of all on-air content for the network, as well as identifying new promotional opportunities. Silva also oversees the acquisitions for the networks’ brands pan-regionally and locally - Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., Nick HD, Nicktoons and branded non-linear platforms the Nick Play App and Noggin, Nickelodeon’s first preschool SVOD service. In addition, Silva is also responsible for the day-to‐day scheduling of the channel’s including content from Nickelodeon US, as well as developing creative strategies for on-air stunts for the network’s growing library of original productions and acquisitions. Silva also serves as the primary liaison between the network and Nickelodeon International’s International Programming Council (IPC).
An 18 year veteran of Nickelodeon Latin America, Silva began her career as a Programming Coordinator for the network in 1997 and since then has held various positions that have moved her up in the ranks. Prior to this role, Ms. Silva was Senior Director of Programming and Acquisitions where she played an instrumental part in the planning and strategy of the network’s programming roster.
