Neal is CEO & Co-Founder of BEGiN, the parent company of the Speakaboos and Homer early childhood literacy and language learning programs. BEGiN’s mission is to provide children the best educational start possible. Neal manages BEGiN’s purpose and vision, sets its strategic plan, recruits talent and manages its relationships with investors and partners.
BEGiN’s reading platform produces the industry’s highest engagement by combining two award-winning programs supporting “Love to Read” and “Learn to Read. BEGiN’s products have received major industry accolades including the Teacher's Choice Award (Classroom), Teacher's Choice Award (Home), Academics’ Choice Award, Mom's Choice Award, Parenting Publications Award and Children's App of the Year. BEGiN is the only company with two top 10 subscription services in the Kids and Education categories in the App Store and Google Play.
Neal is also a Co-Founder of Saavn, the largest South Asian streaming music service globally. Saavn was chosen by Forbes as one of “America’s Most Promising Companies” and reaches over 25MM consumers.
Neal is a Founding Partner at [212]MEDIA which builds consumer media ventures in fragmented markets alongside major media companies. In addition to Saavn and BEGiN, Neal co-founded each of the [212]MEDIA portfolio companies including LeagueApps and LiftMetrix (acquired by Hootsuite).
Neal earned a B.S.F.S. in International Relations at the Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University where he served as the President of the Academic Council.
