As the Co-Founder of WAXON Group, Sandy advises media companies and storytellers on strategies to build media and entertainment brands. Drawing on over 30 years of experience at NBCUniversal, Disney, and Discovery, Sandy specializes in crafting and implementing strategies that drive consumer engagement and business results. Sandy also leads the US operations of Nevision, an independent UK-based studio. At Nevision, Sandy develops and produces character-driven series and films with global appeal in Kids and Family, dramas, and unscripted formats.
Known for being a dynamic and innovative content strategist, Sandy has an impressive track record in the Kids and Family sector. As the President of Sprout, Sandy launched and built Comcast’s Kids and Family business, carving out a unique brand identity and generating over 1.8 billion on-demand views. Before Sprout, Sandy was SVP of Brand Strategy and Research at Disney Channel where she created the Playhouse Disney Curriculum, oversaw all research activities, and served
as the in-house authority on consumer trends and child development.
