Kristofer Updike is a television and film executive with over two decades of experience in the entertainment industry with a concentration in Kids and Family content. As Vice President of Development for Kids and Family on Peacock, Kristofer created and developed new animated, scripted, and unscripted projects including pilots, animation tests, original concepts, legacy IP and new media IP-based content. Kristofer’s creativity and deep understanding of content are invaluable in continuously re-envisioning the way Kids and Family audiences consume content.

Kristofer’s passion for storytelling extends beyond his role as an executive. He is a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion in the industry, championing projects that reflect a wide range of voices and experiences. As a forward-thinking executive, Kristofer has successfully navigated the ever-evolving landscape of the entertainment industry, adapting to the digital era and the rise of streaming platforms. His ability to embrace change while staying true to the core principles of captivating storytelling has solidified his reputation as a respected figure in the industry.

Kristofer joined Sprout/Universal Kids in early 2011 as Senior Manager of Development. Previously, he was VP of Production for Bix Pix Entertainment. Before joining Bix Pix, Kristofer was a Designer with Town and Country Living in Manhattan. Kristofer received his Master of Fine Arts degree from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University and his Bachelor of Arts with a triple major in Theatre, Film, and Art from Albright College.
