Nuria González Blanco is a writer, director, and Academy Awards nominee producer with over thirteen years of experience in the animation industry. She studied Animation at Edinburgh College of Art in Scotland where she received a BAFTA New Talent nomination for her graduation film Domingueros. Since then, Nuria has worked across a variety of roles in children’s television, advertising, and film. Past projects include the award-winning short film Violet; the International Emmy® Kids Award nominee Puffin Rock; the Golden Globe® and Oscar® nominated feature The Breadwinner; the IFTA winner and Oscar® nominated short Late Afternoon; and the preschool TV series Silly Sundays, a project she created and directed.
