Emmy and BAFTA-nominated, Michelle has 30-plus years of experience in the kids and family production business with hundreds of episodes produced and over 50 awards and nominations. Michelle launched Headspinner Productions in 2018 with Showrunner and husband Ken Cuperus. Their first production, Denis and Me, airs on Family Channel and worldwide on YouTube where it has already racked up over 30-plus million views. Happy House of Frightenstein airs on YouTube and Family Jr Canada. The award-winning series won the 2022 and 2023 Canadian Screen Awards for Best Writing, Animation, and Best Writing, Preschool. The 2024 Kidscreen Award nominated Gisele’s Mashup Adventures starring Canadian preschool icon Gisele Corinthios, launched on YouTube, CBC Gem, and CBCKids in March 2023, and Headspinner’s newest series Aunty B’s House created by and starring Khalilah Brooks, a preschool sitcom set in a foster home, launched in September 2023 on CBC Gem and CBC Kids.

In early 2023, Michelle launched Headspinner Kids Channel on YouTube which is now Canadian CAVCO certified and launched the Headspinner Kids channel on BINGE TV in the U.S. in Fall 2023. In 2022 Headspinner was named the #8 Digital Production Company in the World by Kidscreen Magazine. Michelle oversees all development and production for the company alongside her creative partner Ken Cuperus.
