Kory serves as President and Partner of CakeStart Entertainment. He most recently executive produced Pretty Freekin Scary with a season one order of 20 episodes for Disney. Prior to launching CakeStart in May of 2021, Kory spent 21 years as the Head of Current Series at Disney Branded Television and was responsible for overseeing some of the biggest hit series around the world such as Hannah Montana, Emmy Award-winning Wizards of Waverly, Jessie, Good Luck Charlie, Raven's Home, Bunk'd, and Andi Mack to name a few. Throughout his career, Kory has worked directly with notable talent such as Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, Raven Symone, Dove Cameron, Hilary Duff, Zendaya, Jenna Ortega, and Olivia Rodrigo to launch successful series that have resonated with audiences for generations spanning the globe. Under his leadership, he oversaw the very successful launch of Disney+ with Emmy-nominated High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.

Formed in May of 2021, CakeStart Entertainment is a full-service production company that develops and produces live-action kids, family, and YA projects for the global market. A joint venture with international animation and live-action producer Kickstart Productions (The Boys, Preacher) and London-based leading kids’ entertainment specialist CAKE Entertainment. CakeStart Entertainment has studio operating capabilities across multiple countries, including soundstages in the US, allowing them to produce and co-produce anywhere in the world.
