Jeff Norton is the Head of Waterside Studios, part of Corus Entertainment Inc. Jeff leads the development and production of live-action, scripted content for the international marketplace. Presently, he is the Executive Producer of Geek Girl for Netflix/YTV and prepping multiple projects for production. Previously, he packaged and served as Executive Producer of the supernatural drama The Small Hand for Paramount Global, based on the best-selling novel by Susan Hill. He also packaged and executive produced 80 episodes of the preschool hit Trucktown based on the NYT best-selling picture books by Jon Scieszka.
Jeff is also a prolific author of over thirty novels, including the award-winning thriller franchise MetaWars (Hachette), the best-selling Princess Ponies franchise (Bloomsbury), the comedy-adventure Alienated: Grounded at Groom Lake (Random House), the laugh-out-loud series Memoirs of a Neurotic Zombie (Faber and Faber), the YA thriller Keeping The Beat (KCP Loft), and the swash-buckling Dino Knights chapter-books (Scallywag Press). Jeff was previously SVP at Chorion Ltd. where he ran literary estates, built IP brands, and led mergers and acquisitions to acquire new IP (Octonauts and horror-author Dennis Wheatley). Before moving to the UK, he worked in creative development in Hollywood and produced the award-winning Choose Your Own Adventure: The Abominable Snowman interactive movie featuring William H. Macy and Frankie Muniz.
Jeff started his career in brand management at Procter & Gamble, launching Febreze and Dryel in Canada and running marketing for the $500 million North American liquid dish business (Dawn, Ivory, Joy) from Cincinnati, OH. Jeff studied at Queen’s University and earned his MBA from Harvard Business School.
