Sarah Maizes is President and Executive Producer at Cheeky Squirrel Productions, a 360-degree media company specializing in the development and production of innovative, high-quality animated and live-action series, special, features, cross-platform content, integrated entertainment technologies, and the extension of major IP/Brand franchises.

As a 25-plus year veteran of the kids and family space, Sarah has held executive roles at Amazon Kids+, the Jim Henson Company, Mattel, Nelvana, and William Morris where she represented, developed, and produced award-winning and popular content across genres, demographics, and technologies. Projects include: Bad Kitty by Nick Bruel (Boatrocker); Hello Kitty: Super Style (Amazon Kids+); Dino Dex (Amazon Kids+) Harriet the Spy (Apple TV+); Dinosaur Train: Adventure Island (PBSkids/NBCUniversal); Duff Goldman’s Duff’s Happy Fun Bake Time (Discovery+), Dino Dana (Amazon Prime), Tumbleleaf (Amazon), Barbie in The Nutcracker (Mattel/NBCUniversal): Barbie as Rapunzel (Mattel/NBCUniversal); Max Steel, and Captain Underpants (Scholastic).

Sarah is also an award-winning children’s book author, whose most recent picture book, Atticus Caticus (Candlewick Press) was awarded a Kirkus Star and selected as the Best Picture Book of 2022 by the Children’s Book Council.
