Ole has been Head of Children and Youth Program at NDR Norddeutscher Rundfunk for 15 years. As such he has produced, coproduced and acquired programs for ARD and KiKA Network. For ARD, Germany’s biggest broadcaster, he is also head of the ARD Fiction Board for Children and Family and was a longtime member of KiKA’s program commission advisory board. Ole’s team is responsible for programs such as German Sesame Street and its numerous spin-offs, the successful fictional series The Peppercorns, plentiful movies and international coproductions such as Heirs of the Night, Endlings and DreaMars. Recently NDR and ARD, together with Degeto, acquired and coproduced the series Ronja the Robber’s Daughter which was one of the most successful holiday programs in Germany in 2024.
