Amy was most recently Director of Co-commissions and Licensing for Kids and Family at Netflix. During her time there she identified, negotiated, and acquired pre-produced series, specials, and films and oversaw the development and production of new original live-action and animated shows for preschool, kids, tweens and teens. Some of her shows included Geek Girl, Surviving Summer, Super Pupz, I Woke Up A Vampire, Alien TV, Erin & Aaron, That Girl Lay Lay and many more. Amy also developed an animated film strategy for acquisitions and identified, negotiated and licensed animated films in various stages of production and development to be exclusive to Netflix including Scrooge, A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon, Secret Magic Control Agency, Marmaduke, Chickenhare and the Hamster of Darkness and many others.
Previously, Amy was Director of Acquisitions for Nickelodeon. In this position, she developed acquisition strategies that supported current and long-term global programming plans for Nickelodeon, Nick Jr, and TeenNick. She also previously worked in global content sales for kids & family at The Jim Henson Company, Mattel and Fremantle.
Amy earned a BA in Politics from the University of California at Santa Cruz. She currently serves on the Kids Advisory Board for RX Global and lives in Los Angeles with her husband, son and dog.
