Carly is a five-time Emmy-nominated host, writer, producer, and performer. She began her career in children's media as a host of Sprout’s beloved preschool show Sunny Side Up, creating fast-turnaround live television with music, games, and sketches. Other TV hosting credits include Disney+ and NatGeo's Weird But True, for which she lost an Outstanding Program Host Daytime Emmy to Zac Efron (it happens!). She hosts several podcasts for kids, including Who When Wow: Mystery Edition (Tinkercast) and Hey Story Go! (Pinna), the latter of which she also co-created. Her work in live events has taken her overseas as emcee for the 2024 Prix Jeunesse Awards (Germany) and the 2020 LEGO Idea Conference (Denmark). She is a Moth Story Slam winner and performs regularly on improv, clown and storytelling stages throughout NYC. In everything she does, she hopes to create the conditions for bounce: the rhythm of curiosity, collaboration, resilience, and experimentation that lives in all of us, and helps us feel the most alive. Carly is developing several original media projects, including a middle-grade mystery book series. She lives in New York's Hudson Valley with her partner and dog.
