A lapsed Canadian, David has spent the past 25 years in the TV industry as an executive, a producer, an executive producer, and an occasional writer. He kicked off his career at Nickelodeon, cutting his teeth on blockbusters such as SpongeBob SquarePants, The Fairly OddParents, and Invader Zim. David went on to hold key roles at Kids' WB, Corus Entertainment, and Mattel, where he created and produced the iconic Barbie: Life in the Dreamhouse.
At DreamWorks, he oversaw viewership juggernauts including The Boss Baby, Captain Underpants, Spirit Riding Free, and many more, while also managing multi-platform 360-degree extensions of the studio’s most popular IP. During the pandemic, he spent three years writing and producing under his own shingle, Big House Stories. In 2024, David joined Netflix’s Family Spectacle animation team, where he is helping to create some of the most jaw-dropping animation you’ll ever see on any platform.
