Speaker Eimear O'Mahony
Eimear has worked in RTÉ in Ireland for more than 20 years. Over that time, she has worked in Sport, Current Affairs, Irish Language Programmes and Entertainment. She has produced and directed documentaries, entertainment shows and live events. She was the showrunner on The Late Late Toy Show, the annual ratings blockbuster in Ireland, in 2018. She began commissioning in young people's programs in 2019. She has overseen all RTÉjr’s animated shorts anthology series since then, as well as numerous live-action and animation series. Eimear founded and runs The RTÉ Women’s Network.
