Amy is a seasoned media executive with over 20 years of experience in content acquisition, distribution, and creative development, specializing in kids’ and family entertainment. She has held key leadership roles at Netflix, Nickelodeon, The Jim Henson Company, Mattel, and Fremantle, where she led global strategies to acquire, develop, and distribute content across multiple platforms.
At Netflix, Amy served as Director of Global Content Acquisitions and Co-Productions for Kids & Family, leading strategies for animated films, live-action co-productions, and international acquisitions. She was instrumental in securing key titles like Cocomelon, Peppa Pig, and the Academy Award–nominated Shaun the Sheep: Farmageddon, and oversaw creative development across a diverse slate of projects from live-action series (Bet, Geek Girl, Surviving Summer, I Woke Up a Vampire) to animated series (Super Monsters, Buddi, Alien TV) and animated films (Scrooge: A Christmas Carol).
Building on her global experience, Amy founded Sigma Girl Media, a consulting firm specializing in kids’ and family content strategy and creative development. Through Sigma Girl Media, she partners with Tiny Island Productions, handling business development and helping expand the company’s service-work footprint across the entertainment industry. Together, they are pioneering AI-generated content initiatives that combine creative innovation with efficient production pipelines, empowering studios to explore new storytelling possibilities while supporting skilled animation workforces and lowering production costs.
Amy holds a BA in Political Science from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and lives in Los Angeles with her husband, son and their dog.
