Robin is a leading children’s media executive and consultant with a two-decade track record in developing and scaling global animation brands across TV, film and digital platforms. He specializes in taking IP from early creative development through to international growth, using a mix of creative development, commercial strategy, distribution expertise and deep knowledge of YouTube, FAST and wider direct-to-consumer ecosystems.
Robin is recognized for his work in building out digital brands and growing audiences in the creator economy. He has launched and optimized large YouTube networks and grown brand portfolios for major studios by shaping clear, data-led content and distribution strategies.
Across roles at Aardman Animations, Magic Light Pictures, Locksmith Animation and Wild Child Animation, alongside his consultancy Red Squirrel, Robin has led global roll-outs for iconic brands and new IP. He is known for bridging creative and commercial needs, supporting creative development while driving revenue growth and marketing reach.
Robin is also a frequent speaker, mentor and moderator at industry markets including Kidscreen, MIPJunior, Annecy and CMC. His sessions focus on IP strategy, brand building, pitching skills, investment readiness and the role of creators in shaping modern franchises. He has served on the BAFTA jury for preschool animation and is a regular speaker for the NFTS Business Development MA.
