Sebastian serves as Head of Studio and Executive Producer for Pixel Zoo Animation Studios, overseeing the esteemed Brisbane-based studio’s team of over 150 talented staff members. Prior to this role, he was Head of Production.

Driven by a passion for storytelling and development, Sebastian has helped Pixel Zoo achieve huge success, producing over 1,000 minutes of animation content and diversifying the studio’s slate across YouTube, series, films and VFX. Sebastian has played a key role in spearheading the studio’s commitment to excellence and creativity, which has led to great success with properties such as the LOL Surprise Movie: Skate Dance and the LEGO DUPLO series, and partnerships with toy industry giants including Hasbro, MGA Entertainment, Moonbug, Zuru Toys, Spin Master, Moose, and eOne.

Originally from Venezuela, Gonzalez moved to Australia in 2013 to pursue a career in film and media. With degrees in communications and film and media, he's honed his expertise in crafting engaging, meaningful storytelling for children across multimedia platforms, including apps, feature films, and television series for digital and streaming services such as Amazon and Netflix.

Sebastian’s passion for animation has taken on a new degree of fun and excitement as the dad of a three-year-old daughter, with whom he gets to enjoy watching the shows and movies he helps to create.
