Scott is a three-time Emmy award-winning content and digital entertainment executive. His expertise in multi-platform strategic thinking has made him a senior leader in overseeing content strategy, production, and brands.
In 2025, Scott joined CrunchLabs, a STEM education and media company founded by YouTuber and engineer Mark Rober as its first-ever Chief Content Officer. In his role overseeing the studio division, he has expanded CrunchLabs’ portfolio of original content to Netflix, Samsung TV Plus, and classrooms nationwide. In his first year, he also advised the Congressional Creators Caucus, a bipartisan group of US legislators that launched in June 2025 to support and empower the digital creator economy.
Prior to CrunchLabs, as EVP of Content and Digital Strategy at Lionsgate Alternative, Scott exec-produced series including Hasbro’s Trivial Pursuit and Scrabble for The CW.
Before joining Lionsgate Alternative, Scott served as EVP of Multi-Platform Content at Warner Bros. Discovery for TBS, TNT, Discovery, Animal Planet, Science and TRU. He led the networks’ specials, live events, and the overall digital strategy for each network. Working across key teams, including Production, Marketing, Communications, and Sales, Scott identified opportunities to expand audience reach on linear, online, and all other platforms. Under his strategic leadership, Discovery dominated the cable universe with four of the top 10 unscripted cable series, more than any other network, among men 25-54, propelling it to end the year as a top-five cable network in 2022. Scott also executive-produced Space Launch Live, the #1 non-Prime telecast in the history of Discovery and the highest-rated telecast in Science Channel history. The live coverage of the thrilling event won an Emmy for Outstanding Daytime Special Event.
Previously, Scott served in senior content roles at Discovery and TLC. Scott's innovations included building “binge-able” nights of premiere television, driving growth in prime-time viewing by nearly 20 percent, spearheading new types of content, including Shark After Dark, a live late-night talk show airing during Shark Week. Scott has received awards for his work with programs such as the record-breaking Skywire Live with Nik Wallenda, which won an Emmy for Outstanding Creative Achievement in Interactive Media—Multi-platform Storytelling. Other recognitions include the 2012 Sports Emmy Award for Outstanding New Approaches Sports Event Coverage for his part in bringing Space Jump Live, Felix Baumgartner’s death-defying leap from space to Earth, to the Discovery Channel.
Earlier in his career, Scott held senior content roles at NBCU and Lifetime Entertainment.
