Dr. Javoris Hollingsworth, a Georgia native, is the CEO, co-creator and executive producer of Gracie’s Corner and proud father of its star, Graceyn “Gracie” Hollingsworth. A former chemistry professor at the University of St. Thomas in Houston and Visiting Assistant Professor at Florida A&M University, Javoris has long combined his passions for education and creative expression.
Rooted in music from an early age—playing piano and drums in Georgia churches—he later used those skills to shape the beloved YouTube animated sing-along series. Launched in 2020 with his wife, Dr. Arlene Gordon-Hollingsworth, Gracie’s Corner was created to promote representation, inclusivity, and academic growth through culturally relevant music and engaging lessons.
The series has earned major accolades, including multiple NAACP Image Awards (2024 and 2025) and a Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Award nomination. In 2025, Gracie’s Corner launched its first-ever live tour, further solidifying its cultural impact and multigenerational reach.
