Steve is an award-winning entrepreneur and creative executive in children’s entertainment. He is CEO and Executive Producer at Epic Storyworlds, a Québec-based company developing and producing original youth IPs across animation, interactive and consumer products, including the studios Loomi Animation and Freeground.
Since 2024, he has also served as Co-CEO of Epic Story Media in Toronto. Together, the two companies form a bilingual 360-degree entertainment group behind franchises such as Hop (created by Marc Brown, Arthur) and Wild Manes, a transmedia brand spanning animated series, Roblox and toys.
Previously, Steve co-founded and led Frima Studio for over 15 years, building one of Canada’s leading digital entertainment studios and collaborating with global brands including Disney, Nickelodeon, Warner Bros. and Hasbro. His teams contributed to some of the world’s most successful kids’ virtual worlds, reaching more than 100 million players worldwide. Member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (Emmy) and the board of the Youth Media Alliance, Steve is a strong advocate for Canadian-owned IP and the convergence of storytelling, technology and global franchise building.
