Joan Lambur

President

Breakthrough Entertainment

Joan Lambur is the Executive Producer for animation and kids’ live action and family programming at Breakthrough Entertainment. Joan handles acquisitions of projects in these areas as well as oversees creative development and financing. She also oversees all licensing and merchandising activities for the company that are driven by television programming, which include notable projects such as Rocket Monkeys (Teletoon, Nickelodeon) Zerby Derby (TVO, Sprout), Crash Canyon (Teletoon, MTV) and My Big Big Friend (Treehouse, Netflix).

Before joining Breakthrough, Joan founded Lambur & Associates, a Toronto based television development, distribution and brand management company specializing in children’s and family programming.

And prior to founding Lambur & Associates, Joan was President of The itsy bitsy Entertainment Company where she managed the entertainment divisions including international television distribution, television and film acquisitions, development and pre-sales.
