Carole Bonneau has been Vice-President, French-Language Programming, for the Télétoon and Télétoon Rétro channels since 2001. From September 2014, she has also held the position of Vice-President, Content Acquisition, for Corus Media’s four specialty channels: Historia, Séries+, Télétoon and Télétoon Rétro.

Since joining Télétoon in 1996 as Director of Programming, Carole has played an important role in showcasing Canadian talent. Under her leadership, Télétoon has invested over $270 million in original content, including such popular series as Johnny Test, Rocket Monkeys, Detentionaire, Fugget about It, Au pays des Têtes à claques, 6Teen and the Total Drama franchise.

She has worked in the television industry since 1981. Before joining the Télétoon team, she worked for TFO, TVOntario’s French-language educational channel, where, as Director of Network and Promotion, she achieved significant success both at home and abroad within a highly competitive market. Prior to TFO, she was a journalist at Radio-Canada, Canada’s national French-language radio broadcaster.

Carole is a member of the advisory board for the Banff World Media Festival’s Kids & Animation program. She is also a member of the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television and Women in Film and Television.
