Hugues Dufour is Production Executive, Original Programming for TELETOON Canada Inc. Hugues oversees the production of an assigned slate of original programming for TELETOON and TELETOON at Night in English and French, collaborating with producers from premise to sound mix. He is also involved in the development of upcoming series.
Hugues has worked as a production executive on a number of TELETOON series, including Detentionaire, Johnny Test, Rocket Monkeys, The Day My Butt Went Psycho, Grojband, Grandes Gueules and Slaque la Cravate.
Prior to joining TELETOON, Hugues was a writer and director for over twenty years working for PixCom, Société Radio-Canada, Télé-Québec, Max Films, ArtTV, and TVOntario.
On the onset, he really wanted to be a dry and humorless philosopher but then ended up, for no explicable reason, doing cartoons.
