Colm Tobin is a writer and producer with Kite Entertainment, a small but perfectly formed Dublin based production company that produces a broad mix of entertainment and factual programming for a variety of Irish and international broadcasters. Colm is the co-creator of three seasons of Science Fiction, a puppet--based series of animated shorts for 8-12 year olds, for CBBC and RTE. He has most recently written and produced Brain Freeze, a 13 x 4' season of science-themed comedy shorts for CBBC featuring a unique blend of puppetry, 3D and 2D animation. All four titles are distributed worldwide by Aardman Rights and with Science Fiction having already been sold to Discovery Asia and to broadcasters in Finland, France and Israel.
