Kim Wilson is the Creative Head of Children’s Content for CBC Television.

Ms. Wilson has dedicated her life to children’s programming beginning with a degree in Radio and Television Arts from Ryerson University in Toronto, coupled with her long standing passion and commitment to public broadcasting, including many roles at TVOntario and for the last twelve years at the CBC.

As Creative Head, she has successfully brought her leadership skills, her passion and enthusiasm to Canada’s public broadcaster together with her extensive experience in children’s media and her personal love of children.

Under Kim’s leadership at CBC, shows and interactive content created by or co-produced with the Children’s Department have been internationally recognized, from the prestigious Japan Prize, to the Gemini Awards, Youth Media Alliance Awards, Canadian New Media and iParenting awards. Kim was one of the inaugural  inductees into the Radio  and Television Hall of Fame at Ryerson University.Kim is on the Board of Directors for the Alliance for Children’s Television and teaches Children’s Television Production at Ryerson University. In her spare time, she goes geocaching and makes up silly stories for her amazing son.
