Alison Stewart has worked in the field of children's media production for most of her career, first at the BBC and later as a freelance consultant, producer, director and scriptwriter. She returned to the BBC in 2007 and in her current role she leads a team that creates, develops and produces content for the Cbeebies channel —both for the domestic audience and for the international market via co-productions. She also heads up the channel’s animation and acquisitions team.
