The Viddiverse

Malcolm has worked in the entertainment industry for the past 28 years. He has operated across traditional and digital media, launching three television networks and two online networks, as well as producing thousands of hours of television and Internet programming.

Prior to creating The Viddiverse, Malcolm ran a public fund culminating in a $174-million acquisition. He served as SVP of Kids and Teens for AOL from 2002 to 2007, and was responsible for building a business from inception to provide for AOL’s two- to 12-year -olds and 13- to 17-year-olds. Creating and overseeing strategy, development, instigation, sales, P&L, staffing, business development, marketing and PR, Malcolm built the kids business KOL to be #4 in the US and teen business RED to be #1.

Previously Malcolm has been involved in publishing, radio, television development, television production, international business (looking after programming in Europe, Asia Pacific, Latin America for a Hollywood studio), and multi-platform business development. Malcolm has received two Emmy awards (and was nominated for a third) and three Telly awards.

Malcolm played major roles in the launch of three television networks—Nickelodeon UK, TeleMonticarlo Italy and USA Broadcasting in the US. During the launch of Nickelodeon in theUK, he created the programming juggernaut NickAlive, which propelled the network to first place in three months.
