Lisa Henson is chief executive officer of The Jim Henson Company, where she oversees all television and feature film production from early development through post-production. Henson serves as executive producer on the Emmy®- nominated preschool series Sid the Science Kid, and Dinosaur Train, both of which are currently airing daily on PBS KIDS® in the U.S. and in multiple markets around the world. Other credits include Pajanimals, a preschool series featuring four cuddly puppets, and Doozers, a new CG animated preschool series inspired by the popular characters from Fraggle Rock. She also executive produces Fusion’s adult political comedy show No, You Shut Up! under the company’s Henson Alternative banner.

Henson’s feature producing credits include the recent Disney film Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, MirrorMask, Five Children and It, Muppets Wizard of Oz, and Good Boy! Films currently in development include Frog and Toad, Which Witch with Billy Crystal, Pinocchio with Guillermo Del Toro, Happytime Murders starring Henson Alternative’s Miskreant Puppets, and the highly anticipated film Fraggle Rock.

Prior to her current position, Henson was President of Columbia Pictures, in charge of all creative business affairs, administrative and production-related matters for the company. Under her leadership, Columbia produced a string of critical and commercial successes, including Little Women, Immortal Beloved, The People Vs. Larry Flint, Gus van Sant’s To Die For, Fly Away Home and Ang Lee’s Oscar®-winning Sense and Sensibility. Before joining Columbia Pictures, Henson served as an executive at Warner Bros., working on such blockbusters as Lethal Weapon and Batman.

Henson graduated summa cum laude (with a degree in ancient Greek and folklore mythology) from Harvard University, where she was the first female president of The Harvard Lampoon.
