Carole Bonneau has been Vice‐President, French‐Language Programming, for the Télétoon channel since 2001, and recently also for La chaîne Disney. From September 2014, she has also held the position of Vice‐President, Content Acquisition, for Corus Media’s four specialty channels: Historia, Séries+, Télétoon and La chaîne Disney.

Since joining Télétoon in 1996 as Director of Programming, Carole has played an important role in showcasing Canadian talent. Under her leadership, Télétoon has invested over $270 million in original content, including such popular series as Johnny Test, Rocket Monkeys, Detentionaire, Fugget about It, Au pays des Têtes à claques, 6Teen and the Total Dramafranchise.

She has worked in the television industry since 1981. Before joining the Télétoon team, she worked for TFO, TVOntario’s French‐language educational channel, where, as Director of Network and Promotion, she achieved significant success both at home and abroad within a highly competitive market. Prior to TFO, she was a journalist at Radio‐ Canada, Canada’s national French‐language radio broadcaster.

Carole is a member of the advisory board for the Banff World Media Festival’s Kids & Animation program. She is also a member of the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television and Women in Film and Television.
