Mark is one of Australia’s most talented animation designers and directors. While carving out an impressive reel of commercials, promos, shorts and music clips, he’s also one of the few directors to design and direct two hi-end 3D feature films with Casper’s Scare School and Here Comes Peter Cottontail the Movie. On these films Mark worked with many talented voice actors including Dan Castellaneta (The Simpsons), Tom Kenny (Spongebob Squarepants), Roger Moore (James Bond), Christopher Lloyd (Back to the Future) and Jim Belushi . Mark’s short films, music videos and commercials have won much acclaim and fans worldwide, screening at major festivals such as Annecy, Ottawa, Pictoplasma Berlin, KLIK, Stuttgart, Telluride and Sundance).
Mark is also the creator of Yakkity Yak, a highly regarded groundbreaking Flash animated series produced by Kapow and distributed internationally by MTV Networks. Yakkity screened on many channels across the world including Nickelodeon and Nicktoons (US), Nickelodeon (Australia). Network Ten and ABC (Australia). Mark co-created the series CJ the DJ for ABC3 Australia, Mark was across every frame, supervising every part of the process from story to animation and post. In between trips to Malaysia, he also managed to find the time to develop storylines, CJ’s unique film clip style and write the script ‘Little Miss Charley’.
