Tom Lynch Company

Tom Lynch has been working as a creative, innovative television writer/producer for over three decades. During that time he has created, written, directed and produced some of the most successful, dynamic, and groundbreaking television shows in the world for the youth-centered demographic. The New York Times called him “the creator of the ‘tween’ genre.” After breaking ground with KIDS Incorporated (the first kids book-musical series) and The Secret World of Alex Mack (which featured the first teenage female superhero), Lynch continued to push the boundaries of kids television with Emmy-nominated Scout’s Safari, four-time GLADD-nominated South of Nowhere, and Emmy-winning Class of 3000. He then went on to helm WGA Award-winning The Troop and Bucket & Skinner’s Epic Adventures, both on Nickelodeon. Recently, Lynch released half-hour musical smash hit Make it Pop on Nickelodeon, which makes its season two premier in January 2016. He is also writing and producing half-hour comedies for Nickelodeon, animated series for Teletoon and Discovery, and one-hour drama projects for Spike and ABC Family. He is also in talks with a myriad of other networks, both here in the United States and overseas.

No matter what the medium, the Tom Lynch Company is one of the few independent production companies still inspired and driven by the signature voice of its creator. Lynch’s shows have been nominated and won Emmy awards, GLAAD Awards, Humanitas Prize, Kid's Choice Awards, Teen Choice Awards, WGA Awards, DGA Awards, Image Awards, Gemini Awards, Leo Awards and Young Artists Awards. Lynch continues to lead the industry in new directions and take audiences to places they’ve never been before, illuminating the magic of the human experience.
