Mr. van Dyk is Co-President of Activision Blizzard Studios, which creates film and television content based on Activision Blizzard’s library of iconic and globally-recognized intellectual properties, including Call of Duty, Skylanders, Destiny, Overwatch, Starcraft and hundreds more. Before joining Activision Blizzard in 2015, Mr. van Dyk spent nine years at The Walt Disney Company Disney where, as Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Business Development, he helped drive Disney's focus on franchise intellectual property and played a significant role in the acquisitions of Pixar, Marvel, and Lucasfilm. Prior to that, he was part of C-level management of Artisan Entertainment, the largest independent motion picture studio of its time. He earlier worked at Disney in it’s Strategic Planning department and began his career as a management consultant with the LEK Partnership. Mr. van Dyk holds a BA in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
