Vicky Schroderus joined YLE, Finnish Broadcasting Company in 1997 is currently working as Acquisition Executive for YLE Television. When measured by ratings and audience satisfaction YLE is the number one multi-platform destination for Finnish Kids. It transmits annually over 1300 hours of children’s programming for a two- to 12-year-old audience on linear tv,  FVOD service YLE Areena and YLE’s add-free YouTube Channels .  Vicky is responsible for acquiring over 60% of this volume. In practice this means that she decides and negotiates all the titles. She also oversees the dubbing and programming of the shows. Before the current position at the YLE, Vicky also acquired non-English fiction, music and extreme sports. Before joining YLE, Vicky earned Master’s degree in Business Administration at the Turku School of Economics. She started her career at the market research department at Schweitzerische Mobiliar in Switzerland.
