Melanie Summers is the Chief Brand Officer of Driver Studios, an award-winning production studio specializing in Kids & Family Entertainment. Responsible for all marketing, licensing and business development for Driver's existing and new IP, she leads the Driver team in evaluating new content opportunities as well as seeking best in class strategic partners to jointly create children’s entertainment properties. Previously Melanie was Managing Director at Periscope Consulting, where she advised brands on business strategy and brand development for clients including Sesame Workshop and Sensible Object. Prior to that, she was Vice President for the Emeril brand at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia and has extensive experience and expertise in children’s and youth entertainment brand partnerships, global licensing, and retail development having previously worked for Nickelodeon/Viacom Consumer Products, MTV Networks International, and The Jim Henson Company.
