Orion Ross was appointed to the position of Vice President, Original Series, Disney Channels Europe, Middle East & Africa in May 2009. He is responsible for the creative development, from concept to production, of new animation and original series properties for Disney Channel and Disney XD. He reports to Marc Buhaj, Senior Vice President, Original Programming, Disney Channels EMEA.

Before joining Disney, Orion was based in Hong Kong as Vice President, Creative and Original Content, for Turner Broadcasting Asia Pacific, where he supervised branding and creative development for Turner’s entertainment networks across the region including eight Cartoon Network channels, Boomerang, Pogo and TCM.

Prior to joining Turner in 2001, Orion spent seven years in Asia working on channel branding, on-air promotions and original production for the Star Group and MGM. He has also written for film and television and directed broadcast design, music video and commercial projects.
