Jillianne is the founder of Jolly Chipmunk, a content and brand consultancy company focused on developing and driving commercial strategies for kids and family entertainment. As a television development executive and creative producer, she focuses on telling exceptional stories while building iconic brands and franchises. With over 25 years of experience working in the US, UK and Canada, she has expertise in co-productions with global audience appeal.
As a consultant for select entertainment companies, Jillianne develops creative content for young audiences, establishes the content distribution strategy, helps to establish brand identity, and unlocks funding opportunities for companies of all sizes.
Prior to establishing Jolly Chipmunk, she held creative leadership roles at global powerhouse companies including Nelvana, Disney, Nickelodeon, Hasbro (eOne), and WildBrain (as DHX) where she worked on some of the most iconic properties in family media including Millie Magnificent, Barney’s World, My Little Pony, SpongeBob SquarePants, The Fairly OddParents, Kim Possible, Lilo & Stitch, Kid vs. Kat, Martha Speaks, Kate & Mim-Mim, Johnny Test, Hannah Montana, and The Suite Life of Zack and Cody.
Jillianne is active on the International Emmy Awards jury, is a Founding member of Women in Animation, is a member of the Youth Media Alliance and the Children’s Media Association, guest lecturer at Humber, Sheridan, and Centennial Colleges, and gets the most satisfaction out of being a mentor through Women in Toys, Licensing, and Entertainment.
When not working on content, Jillianne can be found making cat videos with Gogo Action Cat or attending to her 80,000 bees and producing honey under her Sweetwater Sea brand in Ontario, Canada.
