Sid has been in the licensing industry for nearly forty years. He began his career at Deka Plastics as a licensee for plastic housewares and later worked his way to Los Angeles where he oversaw the licensing for Alf. Soon thereafter, he moved to Universal where he became President of Merchandising, managing programs like Jurassic Park, Miami Vice, Universal Monsters and Knight Rider.
In 1996, Sid started Total Licensing Services where he managed licensing programs for Got Milk?, Bananas in Pajamas, The Wiggles and Lisa Frank. He later joined Nelvana where he oversaw programs including Maurice Sendak’s Little Bear, Franklin and Beyblade. In 2014, Sid joined United Talent Agency where he has worked on licensing programs for Blippi, Cocomelon, DJ Khalid, Marshmello, Post Malone, and Travis Kelce.
Sid is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of Maryland where he was an all-conference goalkeeper. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife The Travel Mom and his two grown children.
