Tom is a transformational leader who drives growth at all corporate stages: start-ups, turnarounds, and multi-billion-dollar enterprises. He has built and led some of media’s most iconic brands including Nickelodeon, Freeform, Newsweek, TCM, Adult Swim, Cartoon Network, and Harry Potter.
Most recently, Tom co-founded Pith & Pixie Dust, a new consulting company dedicated to applying the wisdom gleaned from decades in the ever-transforming media and entertainment industry to the broader world of business across all segments looking to evolve and grow. Pith & Pixie Dust focuses on three key areas: firstly, using storytelling to animate a company’s strategy and brand, secondly, creating great content to tell that story, and lastly, bringing their considerable expertise in kids, family, and young adults to brands who want to reach, connect and engage with those audiences.
Tom also leads TEA Lane Media, a production company with various scripted film and television projects in development across multiple studios and streamers. Each project is IP-based, and formats range from literature-based serialized dramas to elevated comedies to a reinterpreted musical classic.
