Born and raised in Colombia, Alfredo Marun moved to the United States in his early teens and quickly found his passion for filmmaking and storytelling. He is currently a Director of Development at Disney Television Animation working closely with creators to develop new animated series based on original ideas as well as Disney heritage properties.
Prior to Disney, Alfredo worked at Dreamworks Animation Television developing series for streaming platforms (Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, and others) including, KIPO AND THE AGE OF WONDERBEASTS series.
With over ten years of experience in entertainment-both in live-action and animation-Alfredo is always looking for unique and authentic stories that push the envelope. He is a proud member of LatinX In Animation and in his spare time he enjoys cooking, volunteering at animal shelters, playing soccer, and watching animated series and films.
